From its inception, Growing Great Families wanted to integrate charity as a major component of our company. The act of charity combines so many of the values that Growing Great Families believes in. To that end, a percentage of every single purchase made from Growing Great Families, will be donated to charity.

Charity…a small word with such great power. Power, not only to those on the receiving end, but maybe even more so to those on the giving end. How does the act of charity provide power?

The RECEIPT of charity empowers those that are in need, it provides them with, at the most basic level; nourishment, warmth, health, and on a higher level; hope. And there is nothing that is worth more to someone who is ‘in need’ then hope.

The GIVING of charity empowers the giver by broadening their insight into humanity, by allowing the giver to access inside themselves the feeling of empathy for humankind. Once experienced, a person who participates in the giving of charity, is forever hooked.

 

Growing Great Families have aligned themselves with two amazing charities. Both of these charities do amazing work, one on a global level and the other on a more local level. These are our core charities and when purchasing one of our products you may decide you want to choose one of these charities to be the recipient of the charitable donation portion of your purchase.
